Hi guys,
I just wanted to drop a line to let you know that SFC George W. Bauer has just had Double bypass surgey and also surgey on a corotid atery for a bloclage. He is doing well, and said that when he gets out he will sign in and leave you guys a message. I hope to hear some tall tails from you guys soon. I think someone should spread the word about this web site it can be an awsome tool for everyone.

My Father-in-law is SFC George W. Bauer.
He was on the Allentown. I am looking for any pictures of life on the ship or in port. I think he would really enjoy having some personnal shots. We have some of the pictures of the ship taken by the Navy camera man, But none of the guys on the ship and things and places they went. If you can help me it would be greatly appriciated.
